Chimney Lining Specialists in the West Midlands and Warwickshire

Current regulations state your chimney must be maintainable, sound in structure and appropriately sized for the appliance. A stainless-steel chimney lining is the most cost-effective solution. We install safe and efficient liners or maintain your current one to get the most out of your stove.

Safety

Chimney linings prevent carbon monoxide and smoke leaking from the chimney and spreading through your home.

Efficiency

To increase the efficiency of the appliance, liners are sized to meet the specification of the stove.

Maintenance

Lined chimneys are easier to inspect and sweep. It is recommended that chimneys are swept every 6-12 months. This regular maintenance reduces the levels of tar and creosote build-up to minimise potential fire hazards.

Chimney Liner Lifespan

Depending on stove use frequency as well as the liner and fuel quality, liners have a lifespan of between 10-25 years. In addition to chimney and liner maintenance we offer a range of diagnosis services such as pressure testing and CCTV camera surveys to check the integrity of the liner and chimney.

To get the most from the chimney liner and ensure best possible safety and efficiency, using good quality fuel (e.g., wood logs of no more than 20% moisture) and correct stove usage are key. Upon installation our HETAS qualified engineer will provide guidance on correct operation and appropriate fuel.
